This is the pond at Chinese Gardens in Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, WA. There aren’t any gardens, anymore. The sunlight breaking through and hitting the surface of the pond was pretty stunning. Especially after a couple days with heavy cloud cover.
And one of those times where I had been in the woods and using a high ISO, the sun broke out and I went for the shot without resetting the ISO down … plenty of exposure room to have got down to the base ISO.
