Fort Worden State Park is in Port Townsend, WA. It’s a wonderful use of a retired military facility. Lots of great hiking trails and nice beaches with views of the Cascade Mountains and Admiralty Inlet. It was one of the sites used for the movie “An Officer and a Gentleman”.
I was struck by how the repeating pattern from the stairs is echoed by the pattern of the roofs.
