Traveling the inside passage between Washington and Alaska is an amazing experience. There is something about traveling by water that gives you an appreciation for the size of the planet that is lost in air travel. My preference is taking the Alaska ferry. I wish they hadn’t closed the bars on board… but that is what it is.
The result of the weather in the Pacific Northwest is on display in the endless forests. And the clouds that generate the conditions for the rain forests hang on the trees. I love the sense of mystery.
