You can drive a Forest Service road from US 101 to the top of Mt Walker (~2730′) which is on the northeast corner of the Olympics, just south of Quilcene. There are two viewpoints … one on the north and one on the south. This is the view from the north viewpoint looking across Puget Sound to Mt Baker.
