In February 2018, I went to Victoria to visit an old friend. We mostly visit as we walk around town, putting in miles (or kilometers). As we were walking past the parliament complex, I noticed this copper downspout and was really attracted to the patina and how it was complimented by the colors in the brick, the algae and the lichen on the stone.
