I have spent a lot over the years at the state capitol. Mostly in hearing rooms. It is a lot more enjoyable in the Capitol Building itself … and more photogenic. I took this shot in March 2018.
Immediately under the dome is a large gold seal of the state, cordoned off by a velvet rope. Someday I would like to get official permission to place a ladder across the seal, so I can get a photo with the chandelier being centered. I’m just guessing that they wouldn’t let me stand on George’s face. (I’d take my shoes off.)
