Two Crops of Wildflowers

Wildflower Crop 1
Wildflower Crop 2

When I use “Crop” here, I’m referring to the photo technique, not the agricultural term. These images are both from the same exposure, just cropped differently. I couldn’t decide which I liked better, so included them both. Looking at them on the screen at this moment, my favorite is #2.

  1. Allan – I like #2 better also – I have some Q’s:
    1. Are the blue flowers coneflowers?
    2. What kind of poppies are in the mix – esp the red ones? (like in your other post-which I loved, by the way)
    3. Where was this pic taken?
    Thanks !! 😊

    1. Thanks, Lynne…
      Here’s the answers I got:
      1. I think the blues are cornflowers. At least that’s what we called them.
      2. Got no clue as to the king of poppies
      3. This was taken next to the Chimacum Chevron station.
