Wet Rock, Wet Log

Wet Rock

These were both taken on the North Fork Skokomish on the southeast corner of the Olympic National Park. Different days, different sections of the river. One of my favorite hikes, regardless of time of year (although they tend to close the gate when it is really snowy).

  1. In b and w photos the enlarged versions always seem more interesting than the small ones. True of mine, as well. In the bottom one here the reflections of light look like strings to me in an interesting way. Makes me think of “string theory”.
