Shore Pine Cones

Shore Pine Cones

This is a “shore pine” (Pinus Contorta, var contorta) but is growing at over 5000 feet along Grand Ridge in the rain shadow area of the Olympic National Park. (It will be ready for any expected sea level rise, for sure).

Camera: Fujifilm GFX 50R with 63mm lens

ISO 250 1/250 sec f/9.0
