In February 2015, I drove to Seattle to get a photo of the conjunction of the moon, Venus and Mars. I thought the area just south of Alki Beach would provide a good view and got there early to enjoy the sunset. A rare warm sunny February day in Seattle.
As I was taking a photo of the sun was setting behind the Olympics, an eagle flew into center of the image.
A nice accident, I say.
