I frequently walk around Capitol Lake in Olympia. It is fairly close to my residence and I enjoy the open views and variety of other people. Some regulars, like myself … some runners, joggers and dog walkers.
In early September 2016, I was walking after dinner and in mixed weather. A shower had just moved through and the sun broke out providing a great rainbow (there was a very faint double on the left end). The lens I had on my camera was a 24-85mm zoom… which meant I had to take two photos and stitch them together on the computer.
I like the way the sun is shining on the capitol … and the steam plant.
