I have always spent more time than most looking up at the tops of the trees while I’m out in the woods. I have tried to take lots of photos that show the view that I see and convey the feeling I get. I’m usually dissatisfied. But looking at the photos after the disappointment has worn off, I realize that they are nice images on their own … even if they don’t yeild the mystical feeling I get sometimes.

Great ones, Allan, I can relate to how difficult is to capture what we see when we look up trees (something I always do when walking in the woods). I love the backlighting in the first image.
