These are a few more of the photos I took from my recent trip to the Hastings Building. (Downtown Port Townsend, currently vacant, built in 1899). The first is looking up in the main hallway and the second is looking down that hallway to one of the rooms facing the main street.
The old balustrades are beautiful, even now. It must have been a gorgeous building before it went into decline.
I think so… and we’re hopeful for a restoration project to begin
