Early January doesn’t provide many clear days in Western Washington and when the forecast indicated a clear morning, I got up early and drove to Seattle for the sunrise. I hoped to get a nice clear view of the Olympic Mountains with sunrise colors on them.
I went to the Alki Beach area and took a series of photos that I stitched into a panorama. If printed, it would be about an inch tall on 13×19 A3+ paper. So that didn’t work out so well.
However, on the way back from the beach, I ended up stuck in the morning commute traffic on the West Seattle bridge. Fortunately, I was able to roll down the passenger window and take this photo. Good think I had left the camera on the passenger seat.
