I didn’t know what a gray jay was and had to look it up. The Canada jay (or gray jay, Perisoreus canadensis) is a bold, intelligent, and non-migratory songbird found in North American boreal forests. Known as “camp robbers” for stealing food, they consume seeds, berries, insects, and small animals. They are not endangered, classified as Least Concern, with a long lifespan of up to 17+ years. Wow! 17 years is a long lifespan, so my question is, why did Toronto call their baseball team the Blue Jays, when the Gray Jays is more common?
Very Nice Posing…..Sweet Face.
That is the first time I heard of a gray jay, but that is an awesome photo.

Well, maybe it was the camp robber thing. Toronto isn’t known for stealing bases!
Alan, that is a good one!
