While I enjoy summers in the Pacific Northwest, I’ll have to admit that I don’t see as many sunrises during May, June and July. This was September 2nd and I was up at 6 AM. But worth the early rise to enjoy this colorful display. This is taken from Marrowstone Island, the water is Admiralty Inlet, and if it wasn’t cloudy, you would see some of the Cascade Mountains in the distance.
