This was taken from my canoe on Chambers Lake in Olympia, Washington. Iris grow wild along the shores of many of the lakes in Western Washington. I enjoy their bright splash of color.
I frequently take my Nikon AW1 when I’m canoeing (or hiking). It is waterproof and still lets me shoot RAW. I used a fast shutter speed to avoid any motion from the canoe.
