We took a trip recently up to enjoy the view from the top of Blue Mountain on the north side of the Olympic National Park. There is a narrow (no trailers allowed) one lane gravel road to near the top above Deer Park. Spectacular views await. This shot looks down to Port Townsend and across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Vancouver Island.
2025-07-08 Change: Originally, this was identified as being on Green Mountain. While doing some related research I noticed that this is actually Blue Mountain and that Green Mountain is to the west of Deer Park and is accessible only by trail.
