Very wide-angle lenses are usually used for distance shots. I liked the effect of using it on clover that was close by. There is obvious distortion on the sides and corners, but all those converging lines draw your attention in to the clover.

Reflections
I was walking around Fort Flagler on Marrowstone Island (just SE of Port Townsend, WA) and it was awfully wet. The area is close to sea level, just off the beach, and at the base of a bluff. I think the water that pools up just sits on top of the brackish groundwater. I liked the reflections it provided.
Gone to Seed
I struggled with this image, trying it in black and white and then back to color. What do you think?

After a couple of weeks of weeding the garden and lawn, this little fella came up anyway. I decided to memorialize it, so dropped in on my scanner.
