The Enchanted Valley trail runs up the East Fork Quinault in the Olympic National Park. This is a rain forest valley and the forest is primarily Douglas Fir and Western Hemlock. Along the river bottom there are willows, maples and lots of alders. The image below is a small group that is in the middle of the stream bed … and likely to be washed away with the next big storm.

The view of this falls is accessed by a short nature loop in Falls View Campground in Olympic National Forest, just outside of the small town of Quilcene. The un-named creek is a tributary of the Quilcene River.

There is a short loop trail that runs from the Falls View Campground in the Olympic National Forest. It’s a nice walk through the woods, but there isn’t a lot of access to the river bank. This is one of the few. A nice winter walk … especially when the river is running low and not all angry like.
