I took these recently … more of my continuing interest in (mostly) high contrast black and white images. The top one also was put into Photoshop to detect the edges. The bottom two are just straight high contrast … taking the contrast slider in LIghtroom and increasing contrast to its maximum.

Dock and Crane, Indian Island

This is looking across the bay at Port Townsend to the pier where they load/unload naval ships. There was quite a bit of rain shower activity and low clouds. It created an interesting visual. I changed this to black and white, but couldn’t tell much of a difference.

  • Lens: Nikkor 28-300mm set at 210mm
  • ISO 800 1/400 sec f/10
