These are from my yard. I cut them way back last fall and they seemed to like it.

Just a nice flower photo to brighten up your winter day (assuming you are in the northern hemisphere). I tried this one in black and white and it just didn’t do anything for me. Maybe it was my mood at the time, or maybe this one just wanted to be in color. So, here it is.
Chive Blossoms
I like chive. It’s low maintenance and tastes good on baked potatoes. These are growing in a garden box and that previously had a lot of different herbs and such. All the rest died a peaceful death, but the clive did well. I think come spring, I’ll let the clive take over the whole bed and let the bees be happy.
I wish it were a sign of Spring…
My Siberian Iris is blooming. I’m not exactly sure when it bloomed in the past … I noticed them in January, but this year I pruned back the stems over the summer and the blooms were just barely taller than the old leaves. But regardless, it’s nice to have some blooms in the winter (besides the heather) … even though it is still a long ways to go until Spring.

A couple different begonia shots … this time floating in water. The bottom one is another focus stack of 25 images. But frankly, I can’t really tell the difference.
