I think the door needs a little work. It’s starting to look a little shabby. Especially compared to the rest of the building front. (don’t ask about the back)

Rusted Door
Fort Worden State Park (Port Townsend, WA) has a lot of old bunkers, gun emplacements and search light stations … in various stages of decomposition. This one was about the worst I’ve seen. Clearly showing the signs of weather and salt air. While in the worst shape, one of the more interesting.

Red Door
Once you get off the main street in Port Townsend, you see doors and structures that aren’t what you call fancy. I really liked this door, though. Starting to show its age. I’ll be going back when the light is better (or when I’ve got my tripod).

Door to the Holiday
Above the door you can see “Clam Cannery 1885”. This is a building on the waterfront in Port Townsend. I really liked the door with the wreath, and the way the color of the ribbon on the wreath was echoed by the color of the geraniums.

Door Detail
Walking around downtown Port Townsend, I was mostly taking photos of the great old building… wide angle shots, mostly. But the details are great too. I loved the patina that this door had developed over the years. I’m really glad that they haven’t kept it clean.
