I took this a while ago and as I was reviewing my photos, was struck by the clouds in this image. You can see the change in the sky, reflected in the water. The dock in the mid-distance is the Coupeville-Port Townsend ferry dock.

These were both taken in about the same location (within a block or so) … Water Street and downtown Port Townsend. Besides the difference between black and white and color, one view shows a nearly deserted street and the other a busy one. I liked the juxtaposition.

These are images I took a while ago … but didn’t attract my attention at the time. Now, I like them better. No doubt you have images in your archive or buried deep in your files that would be the same for you. Remember to review your past images for hidden treasure.
It occurred to me that the opposite may be true also: if I reviewed my blog posts carefully, I might shudder at an image that I posted, now seeing it as flawed beyond redemption. Good thing I don’t review my posts, huh? (but maybe I should)
