This was an image I took with the old Kodak Brownie Target Six-20 that our family had when I was a kid. Love the soft focus and ‘natural’ vignetting. Mead Road is on Marrowstone Island, Southeast of Port Townsend, WA.
Glad to find that the film was still available. This was Kodak T-Max 100.
The last couple posts showed Mt Rainier and Mt Baker in the sunrise. Here is what it looked like in between the two peaks.
Same sunrise as my previous post, also from Marrowstone Island. This is one looking north to Mt Baker instead of south to Mt Rainer.
This is a shot from Marrowstone Island just southeast of Port Townsend with Nodule Point in the foreground.
The very thin crescent waxing moon sets just after sunset, but the thin waning moon rises before dawn. I don’t have as many shots, since I have to drive for a while before I have a view. On February 21st, I drove to where I had a view … but a thin cloud layer made the moon hard to focus on … and hard to pick out of the haze. (It’s at the top in the middle) I used binoculars to spot the moon as it rose above the Cascades and Puget Sound. Just lucky with the shipping traffic.
