Nice to have an occasional butterfly along the trail. Even nicer when they stay put long enough that you can get your exposure set.

One of the local farm stands had a selection of plants and as I was looking at this sunflower, a bee came up and posed for me.

It took a while to wait for this butterfly to land where its wings were open facing me. I figured it was a little camera shy.

While waiting for fish to jump at Tumwater Falls Park, there was this spider crawling along a fence post. I liked the grain of the wood against the blurred background with the spider between.
