During a recent visit to British Columbia to visit friends, I took several photos of various buildings. I don’t usually take architectural photos … instead shooting nature, but I liked the way this series showed the variations experienced on my trip.

These two structures took a lot of work to assemble. I hope they last … at least until the next big storm. They are just temporary structures, assembled without permits on the beach at the state park. So many code violations. The authorities may not approve.

Back Door

Getting off the main street and walking the alleys and access streets is a great way to find new and visually exciting spots. This door looks like it has seen better days… and the building is just a little bit scary with the cracks and patches.
