Mead Road Shed II

Mead Road Shed II

This is a slightly different view of the shed on Mead Road on Marrowstone Island that I posted several days ago. This one was with a digital camera.

It didn’t involve nearly the work to remove all the dust spots that the scan of the negative required.

  • Camera: Fujifilm X100V
  • ISO 160 1/900 sec f/5.6

Another shot from my first roll of film through the old Brownie Target. Out for a walk in Olympic National Park (up the North Fork Skokomish River Trail) before the corona closure.

I send the film off for processing. When I get it back it comes with low resolution scans. At that point, I evaluate which images are worth spending more time on, then scan those negatives. Lots of work to remove dust spots.

This was an image I took with the old Kodak Brownie Target Six-20 that our family had when I was a kid. Love the soft focus and ‘natural’ vignetting. Mead Road is on Marrowstone Island, Southeast of Port Townsend, WA.

Glad to find that the film was still available. This was Kodak T-Max 100.
