Rhododendron and Madrone

DSC_2911

This is my view out my office window right now. (this wasn’t taken through the window)

The madrone in the background is dead, but the color of the trunk is still a nice reddish color that goes well with the stems of the rhododendron.

It’s a nice time of year in the woods here in the Pacific Northwest. The wild rhododendron are in bloom. (Washington’s state flower)
