I was staying at a house on Marrowstone Island when the tugboat Swinomish came by in the dense smoke from Canadian and Central Washington wildfires. That’s what created the colors in the water … it wasn’t the sunrise. The water is Admiralty Inlet and the land in the distance is Whidbey Island.
